Something BIG on Airasia website?

  Haven't heard anything about it yet. They rarely do 2 for 1 sales (I think), but could have some really good deals. Will definitely keep an eye when it's nearer to the date.

  I notice that you can currently book until 10th Nov, but their website now gives the option up to Feb 2012, so I would guess they would be opening up the next lots of dates. When they do this the fares are usually VERY low (usually the lowest they will ever release for those dates). Sometimes they seem to include a few months before too (although avail is not as good as some seats will have been sold in previous sales.
  I think last time they did short range flights in the first sale & the long range (AirasiaX flights the week after).
  I guess we stay tuned to see what happens!

  It looks like the travel period will be 13 Sept 2011 - 29 Feb 2012.

  Note that flights from Aust-KL (and all other long haul Airasia X flights) are not part of this "BIG" sale.

  …but this is only until Nov 10th.
  Going by past history I suspect that the really good deals for the NEW dates (i.e. Nov-Feb) will probably be announced NEXT Tuesday.

  today 1/03/2011 @ 3pm flights go on sale

  it was on the back page of the mx paper yesterday

  UK from $399!!!!!!
