Warning! Zapals Cancel Orders without Any Notice

I just want to share this information with fellow OzBargainers.

Long story short, I ordered USB type C cables from the Zapals on 9th Aug 2018 and received PayPal confirmation and Zapals' order confirmation mails. Yesterday, I checked my Zapals account to view my order and found out my order number is not there.

With the order number from Zapals confirmation mail, I opened the customer service Chat on Zapals site. They said my order is cancelled and they are issuing the refund to my PayPal account.

BUT the problem is that they would not refund if I don't find out the order is cancelled.

I normally don't track small purchases from Chinese sellers and this is a good lesson learned that they can just cancel without giving you a notice and don't make a refund until customer finds out.

Be aware! Your orders can be cancelled without any notice to you and your money is still in their pockets until you dispute with them.

  • I'm still waiting on something I ordered from Zapals last year I'm pretty sure. I fully expect it to show up in two months time, I'll probably have to make a trip to the post office to sign for and pick up my 10 cent novelty keyring.

  • Don't buy from Zapalas. I ordered a few things from them and only received 5 out of the 8 items. Contacted them twice asking for a refund and got no response.

      • You still around rep? I've to 2 orders I've not received and no one is responding to any "help desk" tickets.

  • I bought 3 Huawei charging cables. I expected them to arrive since last week. I opened a support ticket regarding this only to find that the ticket was marked as "solved" without any response.

  • Just pay with PayPal and escalate the complaint through there if you don't get a satisfactory response from Zapals directly.

    I have limited experience with Zapals but I've found them to be fairly hopeless in the dealings that I have had. One order I made stated 7-20 business day delivery and provided a tracking number (which didn't work). After about 30 business days I opened a support ticket through their website and got told that I had to wait 45 days and tracking wasn't included with the item I purchased. A pretty clear cut case for PayPal to rule in my favour.

    • Just a follow up to say that the order history for my item has also disappeared from my account on the Zapals website. Very strange behaviour indeed from Zapals and doesn't white wash the fact that I have all the order details in emails.

      • Yeah, happened to my account as well. Placed order and received it a month later (was surprised it actually arrived) but when I logged in to check the order it says I never made any purchases. Hmmm. Weird indeed!

  • Yep. I ordered something on 12th December, expecting it to be a little delayed due to xmas. However, I haven't even received anything telling me it's been dispatched yet. I've sent them a couple of emails, and opened support tickets, and tried to get someone on their online chat (without success). But so far not a single reply.

    I just want to know if it's on its way and what's the tracking number?

    Damn I should have just bought local and spent the few extra $$.
