Might not be the cheapest way to get a switch + odyssey, but if you're after the limited edition odyssey bundle it seems like a pretty sweet deal.

 - Also a good way to get a guaranteed hackable Switch. - What do you mean by this? - older switches have hardware based hacks which have been mitigated in later models - Have been? Nintendo already released patched hardware models?

 - Units built in the last 3ish months have a hardware vulnerability patched by Nintendo, which this predates. - Excuse my laziness. What are the hacks used for? Just home brew? Or are people playing pirated games?
 - Both, or also making back ups of the cartridges and playing the game off their SD cards.
 - @jwilthethrill: backing up all your games and not having to physically switch carts is the best part by far
 - @snagseb:
All of the above. I used it to back up my cartridges so I'm not carrying $$$ worth on a trip, play emulators, and back up save games (which Nintendo is holding hostage behind their online service).
 - @Merlict: Won't Nintendo be able to force an update somehow though? Or block you when trying to play online?
 - @nenadb:
Nope, the exploit is at a hardware level and can't be patched.- You do have to accept a very high chance of being banned, and it's 100% if you go online with pirated / modified games. I don't really care, since Nintendo's online is so utterly crap.
 - Thanks. Just watched some videos on it earlier. I’d be interested in home brew games so I could play old Nintendo games etc but apparently Nintendo are starting to frown on that also and banning systems. Too risky for me, wish they would just sell a legit emulator program and cheap games, seems kinda crazy they don’t do it, could be a lot of money in it for them.
 - Do you have a link to read up on this? What serials are included?

 - Not a bad deal, I just seen Dragon Ball Xenoverse in store at Big W for $29.00
 - I wish we have the switch deal like the one from Amazon more often. - $315 and 7.5% from cashrewards making a total of $291.4? Oh yeah That was a pretty insane deal. - I will be happy with the $378, should have pulled the trigger back then. - Pulled it at that with the extra $20 off, and it’s been by far one of the best purchases I made. Even at $400 I’d be super happy with it. - I sold the Xbox and lent the PS4 out after that.

 - nothing else is really a bargain after that - Plus the $10 prime credit they had on offer at the same time made it a killer price

 - I got a second hand one for $440. Don’t know if it’s been banned I intend to backup all my carts and play from there but waiting for the hack to be more mature. - Could've bought a new one and a game for that much … - Not the Mario collectors edition.

 - Buy sx os pro. No need to wait

 - Didn't plan on buying a switch right now.
 Bought.
 - Can someone explain why this is worth getting? Nintendo has released the red joycons separately haven't they? I'm pretty sure I have seen them at BigW although I can't find them on their site. - They only have them separately in Japan. It was possible to import it via Amazon Japan before now they have closed that. :(

 - Will cashrewards 3.5% work in this? - To answer my own question just received an email saying $8.33 tracked from CR

Good price, love the red controllers! I paid the full $550 RRP for this bundle on the day of release. Bloody nostalgia…
