      SB didn't initially offer the deal though..
      At the time of the posting CR cashback rates were the highest
      Do you neg the incumbent (first deal poster) every time an SSD price war on eBay happens?

    • Does ShopBack stack with wish gift card?

    • +1

      Not a valid neg.
      Feel free to use shopback but don't come to a Cashrewards post and then neg it

      • -3

        Why? The rules state you can neg when the deal is not the cheapest available

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

        • +5

          Not when it was the cheapest at time of posting.
          By your interpretation of the rules, every time we have a new market low, we should be negging every previous deal that had a slightly higher price..?

        • @cwongtech: Thanks. I understand now.

          @trev likes bargains:

          Regardless of the voting guidelines you could also apply common sense and realise that without this deal there would not be the other deal posted from Shopback. So by negging this deal you are basically biting the hand that feeds you.

        • -2

          @cwongtech: where does it say that? you should neg deals if it is not the cheapest available.

        • -2

          @Savas:
          Are you going to go to all older deals and neg them when a new market leader price comes in?
          CR deal was posted before SB deal was posted, and at the time of posting, CR posting was the market leader.
          How does that deserve a neg..?

          Are you saying, if there is a 25% last week in woolies, and 33% off the same product this week in coles, we should all neg the previous deal post of woolies (posted last week)?
