Scoopon's Phone number

Does anyone have scoopons phone number? Before I take my case further to ACCC, would like to discuss with them if they will refund me my money or not.

    Else contact your Credit Card provider to put stop order, they too have some kind database to get registered phone number.

  • They don't seem to display their ABN number on the website. Not sure if ACN helps? I don't know the relationship between the 2.

        The ABN you are referring to was cancelled. Scoopon is now registered under a new ABN number - I apologise as I do not have this information in front of me at the time of writing, but I'll chase it up for you.

  • I am begining to lodge a formal complaint with the department of fair trading. If you have got a problem with Scoopon not refunding your money due to a service that could not be supplied as indicated or supplies at a substandard quality to what was promised.. then take action!

    Our support team have replied to your ticket (ZDO-570636) with details of an issue with Telstra, that was causing the deal provider to have internet and phone issues recently. Our deal partner advised that due to this issue they were unable to contact customer's that had left messages or emails in a timely manner. The deal provider is now up and running and more than happy to assist you with your booking requests.

    The deal provider is working as quickly as they can to contact all customers that are making booking queries and apologise for any delay that was caused due to the Telstra issue.

    We do advise that due to the weekends being the most popular time for redemption, there is a wait for bookings on Saturdays and Sundays. We kindly advise that the deal provider will be able to service your booking query much quicker if you are able to make an appointment during the week.

    Doesnt your deal partner know they can get a $30 mobile phone if needed, or a $30 USB modem for emails.. Does it take 2 weeks to work out that there is a problem with the phone and the internet connection, and even more time to organise a temporary alternative way of contacting customers? We have goten our office in brisbane which was flooded, back to order quicker then this business can organise to fix a landline phone?? What have they been doing the past 2 weeks if both the phones were not working and their internet was down?? Watching TV all day?? And you want me to trust this deal provider with toxic chemicals around my kids and pets, when according to you he cant even organise a phone or internet connection in 2 weeks?? Either you are not being honest with us your customers, or your deal partner is incompetent to even resolve a simple phone issue, let alone deal with toxic chemicals! I do not want a guy to come to my place and spray diluted chemicals, just so he can tick the box saying he done the job.. this appears to be the general practice for many of your deals.. ie treat your customers as second class citizens..

    As i said to you in NUMEROUS emails, I do not want to deal with you, or SWAT.. look at the many unsatisified clients!! In numerous replies you say if your customer is not happy, you will organise a refund.. I have been asking for a refund for over 1 week.. if not more… GIVE ME A REFUND.. I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH SUCH A COMPANY!! You either give me a refund now.. or wait until department of consumer affairs contacts you, as I have made an official complaint!

    P.S. Why is your company not registered any longer??

    P.S.S Why dont you let the public post feedback on your facebook page any more? Is it because you have so many customers eager to give you great feedback?

      Scoopon is registered under a new ABN number. I don't have these details at hand right now, so I apologise for not being able to provide the specific ABN.

      We encourage customers to leave feedback via the Facebook pages for Scoopon. I'm unsure why this option is not available for you if you are unable to view this, it might be something to do with your Facebook settings possible?

  • Yes I have received the email saying I will get a refund.. I will be happy when I see the refund, however I do not see the point of waiting, until we go blue in the face, having to make it public knowledge of how we are treated by your company, and send complaint to the dept of fair trading. Wouldnt it have been better when you realised that SWAT was overbooked and could not deliver or reply to your customers, then to offer a refund straight up?? Heck as a company, you should know if your client can not deliver, and f thety can not, you contact all the people in that offer, be honest and truthfull about the situation and offer refunds if thats what they choose… not blatenly lie about telstra (which i noticed you use the same excuse for many of your clients.. even the ones in Western Australia…), or send cut and pasted emails, which offers no value what so ever to the customer.

    I too have been scammed or ripped off by SWAT and Scoopon!! They were supposed to turn up to my property last Friday, 18th Feb. I waited all afternoon for them. Its ironic, I got a phone call the day before CONFIRMING their attendance and I wait around for them to turn up (as they promised) and they didn't show… didn't even bother calling and now they have not responded to any of my voicemail messages I've left on their answerphone and not replying to my 4 emails I've since sent.

    I have now complained to SCOOPON and am demanding a refund! I think this is disgusting as I usually buy lots of deals from SCOOPON and have never had any problems with any firms before.

    I would like to know if and when you get a refund.

    SCOOPON staff - since my scoopon has not been honoured by a company who is basically being represented by yours, I think they should be BANNED forever from the site! I also look forward to hearing from someone from Scoopon to discuss my refund.

  • Guys, same thing in melbourne re a compnay called Diamond Cleaning - bought the vouchers, took ages (nearly 4 weeks, even though vouchers have a 6 months use by date)to get the cleaners to commit to a time, which is a four hour window you have to wait for. They didnt turn up, called the booking centre which is overseas and they advise they will email and call you back, they don't. Eventually got hold of the mobile numbers for both the supervisor of the cleaning company and the owners to try to contact them - one goes to an optus voice mailbox that is full, the other to a vodaphone with response that it continually advises number is unreachable. Sent numerous emails to Scoopn and CatchoftheDay which owns scoopon, nothing but an automated response. This is pathetic. Advised them that I would be reporting the issue to consumer affairs - even that didn't elicit a response, so I have reported it to them. Sent a followup email advising I wanted my money back or would also go to Police for obtaining property by deception and also the media - no response. HAve also gone to credit card provider, who have placed item into dispute - they and consumer affairs sem to be the only ones taking action. Phone numbers for company don't allow you past the reception unless you know which extension to call. Company was located in Moorabbin, not sure if it is still owned by company assoicated with shop clearances. Don't know what else to do, they simply do not respond to requests, so a forum alerting people to the issues, and people power seems the way.

    • Four hour time frame. Far out! Did they state that in the deal listing? I think that is a deal breaker for most people and should have been disclosed when you bought the deal.

  • Don't buy from scoopon. I bought a $49 deal for MOCEAN restaurant Bondi and they refused to honour the voucher 1 week before expiry

    After now having 2 bad experiences where I am unable to get a booking for a Scoopon that I have bought, and complaining to scoopon and getting their "too bad, so sad" responses, I wondered if anyone else was having these problems. So I searched online and found SO MANY forum complaints. Wow, I am not the only one having these problems.
    This is such a ripoff and their customer service is so unhelpful. They just say that it is subject to availability and sorry they can't help.
    Businesses like this should not be allowed to trade, they are taking money from people, and not giving anything in return. Even the businesses who pay them to offer these deals are probably losing out.
    I am also going to lodge a complaint with Fair Trade Queensland.
    Does anyone else have any tips for what else I could do?

    The problem with Scoopon is that they do not advertise that Scoopon bookings are limited. Because when you book, you are obliged to mention your Scoopon, you are often not able to get a booking. And if you do, you are given bad treatment and made to feel like a second-rate customer. If they don't want to give people the deals, then they shouldn't offer scoopons!
