The original 1982 model TB-303 sells on the used market upwards of $2500. This TB-03 is a reproduction of the classic TB-303. It (TB-303) was a failure for Roland as bass players were laughing at this funny sounding plastic toy, that sounded nothing like the bass guitar it was meant to emulate. The 303 now a classic that spawned the house/techno genre known as Acid. The TB-03 is discontinued, and is becoming a collectable. eBay and Reverb were the only options for a used TB-03, and some prices are well above retail.
