32"+ LCD HD TV

Hi guys, I just opened my coin jar, and I have $300+ worth of coins. Im looking to put this towards a TV that is about 32" and preferably Full HD.

I saw this http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?products_…

Is it worth putting my money into this (only HDTV 720p) or put a bit of extra cash into a Full HD tv?

Thanks :)

    Good luck trying to get that Samsung for $299. It'd be sold out before you can say "HTTP 503 error".

    You probably won't be able to get a full HD TV for $300, and even if you could it would not be a branded one.

    Dick Smiths has a 32" 720p LCDTV for $329

    COTD previously had a 32" Sansui 1080p TV for $339

    • Yeah I dont really mind if I cant get it.
      Ive been doing a bit of research and I guess the question I should be asking is;
      Is it worth spending more money on a 1080p 32" TV with a viewing distance of ~2.5m

      I dont mind spending another few hundred if you guys think it will make a difference

      • Go to a Bing Lee or Dick smith and look at some of their full HD and 720p TV's from up close and from a distace.

        Best to see the difference for yourself, no?

        • Great idea :) will go do that now :P
