Has anyone in Melbourne had any luck in getting a refund of their deposit?
I applied in May this year and heard nothing, i then sent an e-mail in July and they said that they have now received the request, sent it onto finance and to be patient as the request can take some time. I asked how long it would be and got no response.
I don't know if that is just a standard response and they have no intention of refunding?
I was offered a free bike. When I went to collect it I couldn't find it. I looked up and there it was.
Serious? They are all gone now anyway.
I wouldn't pay $5 for those pieces of junk.
I requested one in July and got it back within 2 weeks.
I can't find any record, but I'm pretty sure that I asked for the deposit back via the app in June (after closure announced). I have not received anything.
This was my second time requesting the deposit back though. Not sure if this makes a difference.
I requested a refund of my deposit about a month after signing up… They didn't do anything until I followed up a month or so later and they immediately sent the money through apologising for the error in not refunding…
I thought they were going to give you a free bike.
