After registering, follow the link to open an Orange Everyday account and make your first purchase with your Orange Everyday Visa Debit Card by 30 June 2011.       Just checked, yes, $40 went into my account on 10/03/2011 (purchase made on 7/3). So it's worked for me.

  Is there a minimum limit for the purchase with the credit card? i have got the credit card but am unsure if we need to purchase something over a certain limit…

    it's a visa debit card, not a credit card. i don't think the purchase needs to be a visa purchase - eftpos is ok as well. the t&cs don't mention a minimum so purchasing a pack of gum should be fine. all you need is a transaction from a purchase to appear on your statement.

    javascript is probably not enabled. all is does is take you to an account opening page which is the same as that which can be accessed from the ingdirect website. just make sure you have registered before signing up.

  my friend got paid today: 40.00 ING DIRECT - Miscellaneous Credit - Receipt xxx First Purchase Bonus

  she had a maximiser account but no orange account. did both an eftpos & visa transaction to be sure.

  ingdirect have an annoying habit of back-dating bonus payments. paid today but dated 5th Apr.
