The NW-A45 is a DAP for those seeking a higher audio quality experience than say their iPhones. It is a highly recommended item for those on a budget that provides great form factor and build quality, amazing battery life, a decently sized touch screen, clicky buttons and a microsd slot for the FLAC fanatics. The only real downsides are its propriety connector (really Sony? seriously?) and unintuitive UI. If you ever owned a Sanza Clip+ or Zip, I'm sure this item will provide a bit of nostalgia.

Edit: eGlobal Central AU has it for $191. Has anyone had any experience with these guys?

  The A50 has been released. Product information is on the Sony Singapore site. Looks like the main difference is that it has Bluetooth receiver capabilities. If this lets you take calls while listening to HiRes, I'll be upgrading. The Website only says you can stream music from a phone… And, no manual posted as yet.
