Need a Power Bank - Which Xiaomi One?

Looking for a Power Bank. Not going to be using it daily. Had a Mi Power Bank 10400mAh (short thick one) few years ago and gave it away to someone..

What's the decent one to get in max $30-50 bucks? Xiaomi 2S ? 2C ? 2? Don't even know the difference.. USB C and A difference? Have couple of iPhone's and iPad to charge and probably will use it only on trips and thus maybe once in year or twice..

Searched all the deals and confused with the various Xiaomi powerbanks floating around..

Can anyone recommend a decent one? 10000mAh should suffice I think for my usage? and nothing super heavy like a brick. Would I require 20000mAh ? Maybe not.. or just worth getting it?

Also something which can reach me within 1 month. Don't mind paying local eBay or Amazon rather than gearbest or something which can take over a month

  • Does your phone have USB Type C or not?

    • iPhones don't have USB C, so no.

Honestly, I just couldn't be bothered to read the whole post.

  • Only usb C device I have is a macbook pro

    • Get the Xiaomi one with Type C then you can also use your MacBook charger to recharge it.

      • Nah, I wouldn't get any of those powerbanks.

I'd invest in one of those which can kickstart a car's battery, and toss it in the car.
That way when you need to help to start yours or someone else's car you have the option. And because its a rare occurrence, the rest of its days it can just live as a phone charger, and maybe a MacBook charger as well.

This is the best solution I've found,
since we lost replaceable batteries in phones, since the NOTE 4 and the LG V20.

  • I would say splash out on a PowerPod, my devices charge so fast now it's the only charger i will use.

  • I bought a Xiaomi 10000mAh power bank pro off Kogan.

To be honest, I haven't counted how many charges I get from the battery, but it would be somewhere between 3 & 4 full charges. (charging an LG G6)

I don't have any experience with other power banks, however, I can highly recommend this one.

it's small enough to take everywhere, and can be taken on with hand luggage on the plane :)

There is a power bank 2 as well, although I'm unsure of the difference.
