  • Obviously no comparison to the fresh roasted offers on here frequently but would like to know how these compare to the Lavazza beans on special at coles for the same price -

      I prefer Lavazza

I actually prefer Vittoria, especially Mountain Grown variant. It comes with nice and fresh coffee smell when you brew it. I use Delonghi Coffee Machine, got it from Amazon deal 6mo ago.
Still have 1 500g Lavazza in the pantry, havent touched it yet since we tried Mountain Grown.

For comparison, at my work place, they have ?St Ali? coffee ground. Mountain Grown offers better taste and a very good coffee aromatic in the morning.

      • vittoria mountain makes great coffee in my sunbeam espresso machine along with the breville smart grinder….it’s my go to …… roasted and lacked in australia.

i’ve some of the hipsters coffees, bayside melbourne i have 2 roasteries handy, cant say their coffee is much better than vittoria if you grind it fresh, bigger impact on flavour is how much you use …8gm, 16gm, or the mansize 20 gm.

    • I tried the Lavazza beans, followed by Vittoria mountain grown beans, and bought a pack of standard Vittoria beans lasted week. I could not get a decent coffee out of the Lavazza beans using my Bialetti stovetop pot, and both of the Vittoria branded ones were the best I have tried using the same pot.

I'm planning on trying beans roasted from a coffee roaster near work next and expect that to blow the supermarket stuff away. Ignorance is bliss for now.

  • Tried it a few days ago in capsules, it’s ok but lacks body of flavour, needs extra sugar, I find the ALDI Milano line the best value for flavour that I’ve tried, well aside from Gloria jeans caramel.

    • capsules vs fresh ground is hardly a comparison, guess i just dose with a lot of coffee, 16gm min sometimes 20gm, that would be about 2 capsules.

      • +1

I actually used 2 capsules, I typically use 2 for any brand except Gloria jeans I can get away with one, large cups though.

  • Deal looks good.
I used to always buy Vittoria. I have been buying the Aldi beans roasted in Melbourne for around $11 or $12. Great value and worth a try if you are not a ‘coffee snob’.

  • Do you think the deal might include the organic grown which arent a bad bean and great price if 15 dollars?

Normally they go on special at the same time.

Can confirm that the Organic Grown were on the same promotional display as the other $15 ones listed in the special.
