Very nice cider. Nowhere near as sweet as Recorderlig etc. and has a slight dry taste. It's one of my favourites. Can confirm it does not taste like oranges or explode :)

I'd be willing to give it a go but it's too far to travel. :(

You probably know it looking at your handle but boom in Dutch means tree, cognate to baum in German.

oranjeboom is literally "Orange Tree" in Dutch. Good beer also.

30 minute walk for me so I reckon I might pop in after work.

Carrying 20 cans home on foot or going to drink it all there? :)

@greenpossum: A ten pack under each arm. I've carried two 24 can blocks home before (although it got a bit awkward when one of the handles tore).

Very drinkable. I prefer something sweeter, like Magners and Bulmers, but this is definitely worth a try at $1 a can. Strangely, I found them hiding on a pallet at the back of the store without even a price label, so they can't be too keen to clear them out! There were about 100 10-packs left at Boland St (unless there were more that were even better hidden). There's a Mercury drinker I know that I might try to tempt into giving these a go.
