    Personally? I wouldn't buy it… (Google: Xiaomi Poco F1)

But still an awesome price if you've been hankering for one! (With the price match)

    • There is a point at which you get less for what you pay for, but this is more targetted at business or power users due to its capabilities. Obviously the F1 doesn't have NFC at a basic level, but also doesn't have an s-pen. Also as many reviews have pointed out the stereo speakers, audio output, screen quality and size, are all better on the note.

Perhaps if you were thinking of getting a pixel, then def would consider an F1 or op6 (I would get op6 as it has our bands and nfc/).

Lol. You honestly don't know your phones when you compare a budget Indian market Poco with a flagship Note 9. The Note 9 will beat it in almost every aspect from the crap 5mpix zoom camera(!) to the screen and the S-pen. Is it 150% more? Depends on what you use it for.

I do… believe me, I do! Used to sell them for a living, I sourced 2nd hander's for a couple of shops, Anything and everything.

Just at that price point… I stole my Galaxy S8 for $300 brand new (after swapover it owed me like $80 over my Note 5).

I'm sure there are people out there who need and are willing to pay that, but until it drops to triple digits it's out of my range

      Well thanks for sharing.

    • Where?

    • …like Officeworks?

Someone let us know if OW will actually price match since technically they are not "identical" products (single sim vs dual sim version).

    • +3

      Aust version is dual sim.

    • I hope someone captures a video if OW tries to weasel their way out if this…

Have you managed to get it successfully price beaten?

I'm curious to see how this plays out. If they are willing to do it without giving excuses, companies like becex, dwi and Kogan are going to go under soon enough.

      • How did they do that? I was actually refused.

        • @yuh25: that's amazing! enjoy your new phone.

Looks like the prices on the new Note 9 is falling faster than bitcoins.

    • That's Android phones for you.

  • I went OW to price beat and they denied, reason was the website does not have the model number for the phone for them to match.

    • Sounds like it's going to be luck of the draw. As is normally the case with price guarantees.

    • So I called OW and they denied.. Walked in store (QV cbd) and denied
I then said, but my mate just received this discount in store
So they let it go through $1,115

  • Price on website is AU$1,194.00 now - so possible lower?

    • plus shipping.

      • okay

  • Anyone in perth want to swap the note 9 spen? I got the black spen, wanting a yellow spen. Thanks.
