  At 3.4kg self weight for carry on..that's half the standard 7kg allowable on most carriers.

        Jetstar sure do though!!! though they had no objection to me layering myself in 5 layers of clothes and stuffing other items into my pockets to get it down below the limit.

  With just a single power bank, laptop and charger you're already basically over weight… Honestly don't think even 34L of clothes would be under 3.6kg…?

  If you are in Melbourne and do not need it urgently, it's cheaper to get it when warehouse sale is on. Next one should happen before Christmas. should be around $30 - $40 cheaper. I own 2 of this. Yes it is a bit heavier than other carry on luggage but it's absolutely worth to get. I love the build quality and design.

    What do you mean by the "warehouse sale"? Is there a Samsonite warehouse in Melbourne?

      Yes. It’s located here: 23A Smith Rd, Springvale VIC.

      They do not open to the public until their warehouse sale. And they stock Samsonite and American Tourister.
