  Things I've found out owning a pair of trail running shoes: Not great for road running, or casual walking on wet days. The soles are harder than your average road runners. You lose traction and you slip.

    Thanks for the tip - only looking for some casual shoes and would have thought hard sole would last longer, never thought of grip/slip

      Yeah. I bought them thinking the same thing. And they probably will last longer. Still. On dry days, they're great.

      Anyway, just my 2 cents. If you want cheap casual shoes, check out Decathlon's runners. Cheap and comfy.
