  • Philips and Xiaomi > Oral B

  • My cheap supermarket Oral B is on its way out so I've been in the market for something to replace it. Anyone got any opinions to throw my way yay or nay?

Also worth noting that Shipster users get free shipping from HN

    • Philips Sonicare is better.

      • Been using Sonicare for years, they are the leader.

        • Good enough for me - great timing thanks OP. I can stop using the mrs' one now.

        • @Hinee: Hardly Normal are also doing Oral B electic toothbrushes for $19.95 50% off. The Mrs bought me one today.

    • +1

They all do the exact same thing. Even that chart listed below on the difference between brands doesn't say the actual usage differs. My Oral B has different modes and heads and have never used any of them in 5 years. I just use it in normal mode to clean my teeth. I would guess that most people that own an electric toothbrush use it only for the same.

I also have never bothered with my travel case, they are usually too bulky for your toiletries bag.

My replacement will be one without bells and whistles that aren't needed as long as the battery life reviews are good.

  • Bought one. Thanks OP!

  • damn, this one is not eligible for cashback offer.

  • Slightly cheaper on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Sonicare-Healthy-Electric-Too…
Has a good chart to compare other models

    • Which seller? I am not able to find it for under $79.

Take a closer look and you'll find that price is for Amazon.com and not available to Australians.

      • Sorry should've checked that

  • Just got mine, really happy with it. Feels alot cleaner vs using a manual toothbrush.
