Nokia 7+ Vs Oppo 15 Pro Vs Other Aus Stock for Audio/Camera

So my LG V20 is having battery difficulties and was bricking on me until I removed the sim card and the memory card. I use my phone mainly to listen to music on sennheiser momentum or my Sony NC, watching MUBI and sbs on demand, and to take photos. I've gone back to my Sony Xperia performance but getting good sound without using an equaliser app is an issue and it only has 32g memory which limits apps (especially if I want to download movies).
So I'm consulting the hive mind and wondering which of these options are best for sound and camera, based on your experience with the phones, if possible, as I know the stock Android has varied with iterations.
Thanks :)

None will match V20 sadly, but my choice would be 7 plus, it still won't be able to drive your headphone like V20.
Have you looked at getting a second battery?

    • Got a second battery and it was worse than the first. The second battery saw a lot of the freezing up. I've put the first battery in and deleted a lot of apps.

      • That's strange, I'd do a factory reset as last resort.

I've got the batteries (2 I'm sure are genuine and 1 I got off a tech sure overseas for very cheap) they are perform the same.
There's been Lisle degradation compared to my last phones due to spreading across 3 batteries and presumably less heat as i always charge using cradle and swap batteries.

The only strange thing is sometimes the battery cutts of before heating 0%.

SOT is usually about 3 hours give or take depending on other usage. Biggest issue is overnight drain Eric is inconsistent. Waiting for hopefully Oreo before i do a factor reset to fix the battery drain.

        • Nods…the reset may be on the cards. According to accubattery the first battery is only 63% healthy. Im interested in trying the other official one i got off ebay and seeing how it goes. All the battery companies where i live wanted to charge me 3 times the price for a generic one…

@TheRealCher: ebay genuine ones go for around $25 and with cradle will be around $50. Just read and make sure it say LG genuine. There used to be a guy in Melbourne selling them (shipping was 1-3 days).

I got my 2nd spare for around $15 in the tech store over seas. Anything less than that is obviously fake.

Also as a general rule of thumb never upgrade your phone without have already factory resetting the old one, because then you will have a false perception that your old phone is too slow and new one is super fast, then a few months later once you install all the apps you'll forget about this and think how slow your new one is and the cycle continues lol.

diagnose it by running it in safe mode with no 3rd party apps, if its still (profanity) up, then you know its the phone, if it isn't, you know its a 3rd party app.

Then use acubattery to see what's draining your phone. (Free to download but pro version is 3.89)

    • Thanks. I appreciate it. :)

Buy the new Oppo AX5 comes with diamond blue or pink at jbhifi $379 4230 battery.. gonna last u two days.. snap dragon 420. Not bad. Dual sim and big screen

    • It looks good. But I just splashed on the Samsung 8 that good guys have. I figure now I'll have a couple of options and can gift to my parents when needed.
Thanks to everyone for the help. The LG is revived, and I'm waiting to see what the battery will do once I start with the SD card again.
      Really appreciate the suggestions :)
