Purchasing Bose Headphones from eBay US

Thinking about buying some Bose QC25's and the best combination of bargain price and reliability I could find was an Ebay seller based in the US.

Is there any issue purchasing these from oversea's? I'm worried about warranty… but I feel like electronics compatibility should be fine.

if the price is too good to be true then it maybe a duck. please consider wait for a deal posted here from local store or reputable stores, otherwise we might see a new thread next week about "fake bose"

  • How much are you actually saving by purchasing on eBay US?

Also why the QC25s not QC35 II?

with the low aussie dollar, it's probably cheaper to buy it locally when on sale. Any savings will probably be lost with the exchange rates.

i would just wait for when there is a sale locally.

  • I believe Bose has an international warranty, but it still needs to be from an authorised reseller. For example if you purchase it from best buy and have proof of purchase you should be covered. If you purchase it from Kogan it's not authorised so is not covered and you have to deal with Kogan for repair (they don't have to use authentic parts or authentic repairers. Purchasing from eBay can be more difficult as you don't always know where it's coming from or even if its authentic. Even if it's authentic you're also likely not covered by ACL so you are restricted to the manufacturers warranty.
