Uniden XDECT R035BT + 2 (1 Handset by Redemption) Good Guys - $149

90

Good Guys are selling the Uniden XDRCT R035 with Bluetooth along with 1 handset included and 1 available through redemption from Uniden. That makes it have 2 additional handsets all for $149. Seems like a good deal. Don't know the details of the redemption though.

The catalogue link is : http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/prospect/store/ContentDisplayV… and it shows it's for all NSW stores (while stocks last of course).

  • A nice deal - thanks for submitting this! :) I'm in SA and note that the Hectorville store in Adelaide has the same price on this: http://tinyurl.com/unidencordless This phone rated highly in the recent Choice review of cordless phones with answering machines and its ability to pair with mobile phones makes me very tempted to purchase.

No worries mate! Just ask them if it applies there before buying though. Hopefully it's not a NSW only redemption from Uniden/Good Guys.

No, the redemption promotion is independent of Good Guys and is available to all who purchase this phone between 19th February and 31st May. Full details are available on the Uniden promotions site here: http://tinyurl.com/unidenpromo I'm moving into a split level townhouse soon so have been researching cordless phones with multiple handsets and saw this promo a few days ago. I was thinking of purchasing this phone prior to the deal you posted and I think it might just have pushed me over the line.

        • Sweet! Just a week and a half ago I bought the XDECT 7055 for about $150 as well with two handsets (unlucky me, I know). But I can surely vouch for the XDECT technology in terms of range and clarity. Other phones didn't get enough range in our double story double brick duplex but this one does it without a sweat.

Good price and deal, however I purchased this a few months ago and had to return it. The mobile phone kept connecting and disconnecting with the base. Didnt matter where the phone was in relation to the base (most of the time within 2 metres). I had two Nokia phones at the time and they both did it. My dad then brought one to use with his iPhone and the same problem! Have no idea why it does this, its a pity because its a great concept. My only advice would be to buy it from somewhere where it is easy to return if you have the same issues.

  • Thanks for the heads up.
Looking for a new cordless phone with preferably 3 handsets so this is a great deal.
Was previously looking at a Panasonic 8533. I guess its equivalent to this Uniden.

  • I popped into Officeworks this evening (Trinity Gardens, Adelaide) to see whether they would price match the Good Guys special. To my surprise, they had already discounted the phone to $149 so I ended up picking it up. I haven't set it up yet but it looks impressive. Looking forward to getting to know it prior to my move. Thanks again to the O.P.

    • sweet! Hope it helped.
