Am in the market for a new car DVD 2 din Head unit. With the current Ebay Plus sale was wondering if anyone has one and could comment if they are any good. Have been looking at this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/7-Android-8-0-Car-Stereo-GPS-Rad… but unsure if i would be just buying rubbish. Not after anything too fancy but must have DVD and camera. Cheers for any suggestions.

I have a ebay android 2din,bought it 2 years ago for 450,it's similar spec to this on in the link although has a build in fasci to fit the car,not universal
it's alright,minimal lag,only problem is start up time,takes longer than a good oem unit,especially when you really need to set sat nav,haven't actually timed it,feels like a good minute to boot up,where as some good oem unit I've used takes more like 20 sec,also the reverse camera does not come on untill unit is booted,on oem unit I've came across,reverse cam shows up soon as you reverse even unit still starting.could be the wiring ,cause I wired it myself,Im not an auto electrician,didn't even solder the wires just twisted them together
Don't waste your time on these Android head units - Spring for a name brand with half the "functions" and you will be happier.
