Heat Pump Dryer Better than The 7kg Kogan One?

Need a new dryer. Have a 4kg fisher and pykal condenser dryer that just broke. Thinking about the Kogan 7kg heat pump dryer for $729

https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-7kg-heat-pump-dryer-kogan…

Which is basically the same as this Essato for $727

Is there anything better value than these? Wouldn't want to pay any more than this I don't think.

    Seems to review okay.

If F&P only has a 2 year warranty and the above also has 2 years, I guess it's no greater risk.

Lots of options here but mostly a fair bit more expensive I think. More like $1k to 1.6+

  • Essato looks real good, and appliances online have free shipping. That one from Kogan quoted $85 for Melb delivery yikes!

    Dont forget cashback!

  • Fix the fisher and pykal, are you n Melbourne? A found a great dryer repairer.

I was in a similar position and was about to buy a new one when the sales rep said that the new dryers will last a few years but nothing beats the older ones for reliability and longevity. He suggested I try to fix it buy looking at you tube vids and if I can't try to repair it. $120 odd and it good as new!!!

    • It’s not a heat pump dryer though, the one that just broke. But it would be cheaper than buying a new one f it could be fixed.

      • Whats the problem with the old dyer?

Doesn't tumble and smells like burning when it's turned on.

  • They're not identical re badged? both 51KG 850W input and size to the mm.
