Good 2 Player PS4 Games (Couch / Split Screen / Co-Op - same TV)

Hey guys,

A mate of mine has a Nintendo Switch and when I'm at his house we play Mario Kart together. It's a fun 2 player game.

I have a PS4 and a tonne of games. When we comes to mine though, all I really have in Wipeout, which isn't as fun. Mortal Kombat X is the only other 2 player game I have (out of my 40). Even Driveclub doesn't do split screen (or even 2 player time trials).

Can someone please recommend some good 'same console' 2 player games - they can be driving, basic indie, anything really, as long as it's simple and fun.

    I love cooperative games, there just isn't enough of them these days.

    I find it much more satisfying playing co-op with a friend rather than against them.

    Streets of Rage on the Mega Drive was a perfect example of an amazing co-op game.

    the lego game series are pretty good 2 player games, Rocket league, A Way Out, Resident Evil 5, Payday 2, Knack 1 and 2, Far Cry 5, Don't starve together, Ghost Recon Wildlands… There is others, and they are out there. But these ones are the fun ones…

    overcooked is fun to play with friends,

    the PS link games such as thats you and other games are good fun too (they are cheap and one is free if you have PS+ now)

    also until dawn and detroit is a good somewhat co-op game, it's like was like watching movie and vote for next course of action.

    Diablo 3 works really well as couch co-op.

    Soulcalibur 6 comes out next month, the create a soul feature lets you make some really bizarre characters which is perfect for this kind of situation.

    Seriously, if you like B-movies and shitty, hilarious asian-english acting/dubbing. You need to play these games. They're so ridiculous, so stupid, can be randomly buggy like goat simulator (in a good way). They're just awesome fun. And the climax of the game is so utterly ridiculous and stupid it's brilliant.

    Perfect couch co-op game.

    Human Fall Flat, Tricky Towers, Rocket League, Art of Balance (super underrated. I never hear anyone talk about this yet all my friends love it. We played on Wii U though so I have no idea how it plays on PS4)

    Borderlands 2 is an amazing co-op game. (Ps4 version comes as "the handsome collection")

    Terraria IMO is also a great co-op game. Although you mightn't like it, it's worth a look.

    Hey guys!

    I have a mate who has gone off the radar a bit and me and some friends are concerned for him.

    We had the idea of buying him a PS4 and a good Co-op game we can play on the same console or via the PS network.

    Problem is, while Nintendo has some good 'low investment' (pick up and play) fun co-op games like Mario Kart, I don't know know of any for the PS4. I have Mortal Kombat X, Wipeout, Diablo 3 and some Resident Evils, I'm looking for a simple fun co-cop game for 2-4+ players.

    I'm sure there are some cheap/fun Indie games that fit this category.

    Can someone help with any suggestions?
