How to Enter

There are three (3) ways to enter this Sweepstakes: Sign up, Automatic & Mail-in Entry.

Sign up: Eligible Participants who go to the Microsoft url (see below) and sign up for Xbox Game Pass using PayPal as their payment option during the Promotion Period* will receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes (“Qualifying Transaction”), unless they opt not to enter this Sweepstakes at the time of sign-up or go to [email protected] and indicate they wish to opt out. Eligible Participants in Australia must go to www.xbox.com/en-AU/promotions/paypal-gamepass

Automatic: Eligible Participants who have previously signed up for Xbox Game Pass and make an automatic monthly payment using PayPal as their payment option during the Promotion Period will receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes unless they opt not to enter this Sweepstakes at the time of sign-up or go to [email protected] and indicate they wish to opt out. (“Qualifying Transaction”). The Qualifying Transaction must be completed and received by Microsoft during the Promotion Period, but no later than 11:59:59 PM PT on 10/31/18 in order to be eligible. Limit one (1) automatic entry per person/email address/PayPal account. Subsequent automatic entries submitted by the same person/email address/PayPal account will be void.

If you are taking part in any trial-period offer, you must cancel the service by the end of the trial period to avoid incurring new charges unless Microsoft notifies you otherwise. If you do not cancel the service at the end of the trial period, you authorize Microsoft to charge your payment method for the product or service.

By Mail: To enter the Sweepstakes by postal mail, hand print your name, address, city, state, ZIP or postal code, date of birth, email address and daytime telephone number on a 3” X 5” card (postcard size), mail it in an envelope with postage affixed. Residents of Australia must mail to PayPal Xbox Game Pass Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 200, Neutral Bay NSW 2089. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by 1/11/18 for Australia and received by 7///18 in order to be eligible. You may enter as often as you wish via mail in entry, but there is a limit one entry per outer envelope.

Prizes

One (1) Grand Prize: A 4-day, 3-night trip for the winner and one (1) guest to Los Angeles, CA, USA to attend the 2018 Game Awards on December 6, 2018. Prize includes round-trip, economy class air transportation from a major international Gateway airport near the winner’s home to Los Angeles, CA, USA (flight associated taxes are included), double-occupancy, hotel accommodations, $500 USD (AU$680) in spending money, a meeting with the Game Awards Host, two (2) tickets to the 2018 Game Awards and the new release game Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition game code. Maximum Retail Value (MRV): USD $7,199.99 (AU$9805.40). Actual value of trip prize depends upon the currency conversion at time prize is awarded, the winner’s residence, market conditions, the city of departure, time of travel, changes in value of components and other reasons, any airfare and hotel fluctuations and on current market conditions at time of prize fulfillment. Sponsor and Promoter are not responsible for and winner will not receive the difference between the actual value of the prize at the time of award and the stated MRV in these Official Rules or in any Sweepstakes-related correspondence or materials. Ground transportation to/from hotel/airport/event is not included in the Grand Prize. Winner may be required to provide a credit card at time of hotel check-in to cover hotel incidentals. See “Travel Restrictions” section below for further information. Spending money to be awarded as a transfer into the winner’s PayPal account. Grand Prize Winner must have a PayPal Account in good standing (the “PayPal account”) in order to receive, access, and use the prize. Prize will be deposited in the PayPal account associated with the email address provided by the Grand Prize winner. If the email address you provided is not associated with your PayPal account, you must associate it with your PayPal account within 7 days from time of prize notification. Prize will be deposited in the winner’s PayPal account within 6-8 weeks of prize notification (28 days for Australia). Winner must have a PayPal account in good standing at time of prize award.

Five (5) Second Prizes: An Xbox One X console* and the new release game Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition game code. MRV $559.98/each USD (AU$762.64/each).

Fifty (50) Third Prizes: The new release game Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition game code. MRV $59.99/each USD (AU$81.71/each). Total MRV of all prizes: $12,999.39 USD (AU$17,704.10).

Draw

One (1) potential Grand Prize winner, five (5) potential Second Prize winners and fifty (50) potential Third Prize winners will be selected in a computerized random drawing at 8:00pm PT (2:00pm AEDT) on 11/7/18 (11/8/18 for Australia) at MDSA, Level 2, 40 Yeo Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089, Australia from among all eligible automatic and mail-in entries received, in the presence of an independent scrutineer. The random drawing will be conducted by a representative of the promotions agency. The first 56 valid entries drawn will each win a prize, with the Grand Prize awarded to the first drawn eligible entry, the Second Prizes awarded to the 2nd-6th drawn eligible entries and the Third Prizes awarded to the 7th-56th eligible entries.

Australian residents only: winners will be notified in writing (by email or postal mail) within two business days of the draw on 11/9/18 (11/12/18 for Australia).
