It's hard to get polarised UV-rated sunglasses for much less than this. The cancer council range are occasionally this price on COTD. It's not worth saving an extra $5-10 on generic ebay/aliexpress products and risking your health.
I got two pairs of the CC polarised aviators a few months back, and th nose pieces in both broke the first time I wore each of them. Pretty annoying, not even worth asking for a replacement at that rate
That's surprising that you had that experience - I have a few pairs of CC sunglasses, which I hardly use (glovebox pairs etc), but which have been fine for a few years.
