Software to Free up iPhone Space?

As you might know that iphone chews up alot of space which is not easy to clean up in the form of temp files, cache, documents and data etc.

Has anyone used any reliable software free or paid which can help me free up space?
Its about 20GB of space that i am not able to use :(

tried imyphone but paid version is about $45
free version helps only to free up about 100-200MB space.

TIA

Trash bin works well. You go into any photo, video or song and press the little trash bin located in the corner. Wallah.

    • done that for a few things.. cant do for all obviously. :)

Is there an available software update? I can't remember which iOS version it was but some people we're reporting that after the update, it had cleared a lot of space.

    • software is upto date

  • my iphone and ipad keep saying cant backup because no more space? or cant update? or something like that.
or no more space in the icloud?

If your phone says it can't back up to iCloud because you've run out of space, that's a different problem than not having enough space to download an update.

Solving the iCloud problem: Apple's Instructions

      1. Pay Apple for more iCloud storage. I know, I know, not "bargain" but seriously backups are important and if you're not sure what you're doing this is the easiest way.
      2. Turn off backups for apps where you don't mind loosing all the local data. Sometimes it can be hard to know what an app stores locally and what it uploads! Think carefully. Apps like FB, YouTube store stuff online; drawing apps and games often store it locally.
      3. Turn off iCloud backups and backup to your computer instead using iTunes.

      Solving the Phone problem:

If you can't update because there isn't enough space to download the update, you can update with iTunes instead.

  • thanks. its not the icloud problem. Its a 64GB one and I still have about 8GB left. But the issues is 20GB is used by Systems or Documents n Data which i want to free up.
Yes,m resetting to factory settings is an option but that is a pain in itself which i was hoping to avoid. But doesn't look like there is an option
