  I dont rate Floresheim any more. I had a pair 15 years ago which was abused but lasted at least 5 year. I got a pair last year which not only fell apart in 12 months. I am willing to bet that the company was sold to a investment firm who is relying on the trusted brand to sell inferior products in order to raise profits so they can on sell the firm for a profit themselves before the brand is tarnished completely leaving the new owners with a lemon. Its call pump and dump. Its happened to many many reputable brands over the years.

    I'm ok with getting a year to a year and a half out of these shoes because of their relatively low price point to quality ratio. What's your problem? If you want superior shoes you're on the wrong forum.
