COTD misleading on routers

Why doesn't COTD share the model number of the Belkin router it is offering?

And why do they advertise it as 11a/b/g/n?
See: http://cdn.ultraserve.net.au/cotd_au/images/tech_tabs/tab-be…

This makes it look like it is a dual-band router since it will handle 11a, but if you go to the Belkin website and compare it to Belkin's website, it is actually this:
http://www.belkin.com/au/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id…

This is not a dual-band router that will support 11a.
And this is not the first time COTD has advertised 11a/b/g/n on a single band touer either.

(the other alternative is this: http://www.belkin.com/au/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id…, but the lights on the pictures are not the same)

By the way, yes I know it's COTD and you will probably be like "well they do this sort of crap all the time". I'm just venting here.

    possible???….yes

i highly doubt COTD is wrong looking at the 'shines' on OP's post and mine, COTD's one is mine

    • nup, look at the lights.

The dual band Belkin has 4 lights at the top, the single band Belkin has 1 - the COTD one has 1 as well. It's the single band router based on the pic.

and COTD looks like they've copied the picture and turned the brightness up high

      • oh yes true
as well as the words above the lights
COTD matches yours as it is Long then Short
my one is short then long

        you are right

  • COTD usually doesn't post the model numbers… they post the specs but no model number so its slightly harder to check the price I reckon.
