I'm confused by the large number of projectors appearing here on OzB with a native res of 1024x768 (or less!).
Are these projectors worth the effort?
Or is this more 'projector spam'?
Why is this particular projector any good?
Why are people buying these mini or low spec projectors?

  Well, sub $500 720p (that's 1280 x 720) have been rare to non existent until recently, with the next step down. Being 480p - yuck. 720p is a great compromise for a secondary screen and becomes practical for a lot of things. Admittedly a lot of the earlier deals were that iCodis stuff (disclaimer:I got a 813 and so far love it).
  
  This one is probably brighter and suited differently. Seems good for the price.
  
  So low spec projectors? Hell no. Do I know about this one? Nope. Mini ones? Love the concept and being portable rocks for the stuff I do.
