Sorry, this is probably a dumb question. But when you link your Fly Buys points to your Velocity points are transfers automatic or do you do them manually. I want to link them together but I don't want to transfer any points at this stage. (I want to enter the million points competition). With the Woolworths this seems to be an automatic process when the linking occurs. Can someone please give me a definitive answer on this as I don't want my current points transferred yet? The T&Cs seem to indicate the linking is separate but I just want to be sure.

Unlike Woolworths and Qantas (which is automatic), transferring Flybuys to Velocity is done manually. I recommend waiting for the 15% or 20% bonuses when transferring. Other special offers come up from time to time as well.
