    I bought a couple of these at start of the year from EB for $23 each during one of their numerous "sales", both have stopped working and ended up as landfill.

      I've had one for just on 12 months and still works perfectly. Can't fault it and for < $30 its a great deal.

      I also bought 2 and both have issues charging 2 controllers st once! 1 charge works no issue but a second controller will cause the charging light on one to flicker.

        Similar problem to mine.
        I now just use rechargeable AAs from my Eneloop and IKEA battery stockpiles.

    Maybe if it was 15 bucks it would be worth buying but it's not really that difficult to exchange eneloops from a smart charger and a controller every 30 hours or whatever it is … granted you avoid a few seconds of going what the (profanity) as nothing works anymore in the game your playing :p

    I picked up the x360 version of this when Dick Smith had their pre administration sale for $1. It's been working ever since and was less then the price of a set of non rechargable batteries. The batteries maybe dont last as long off charge as a set of envelops, but they can just be left in charge all the timr if you game often so its no big deal

    I have purchased 3 of them, all seem to be going strong.

    EBGAMES has their own version of this which is non energizer, they were promoted at the same time last time. not sure if one is better than the other..
