Anybody can sell… will they keep your system running and your electricity bills down?

This is why e-Solar supply only established brands from reputable manufacturers with proven record, not to mention experienced installers.

It takes few hours to install these systems professionally, but much less for cheaper hurried job with leaks when the rains come (this is probably why we might be slightly more expensive sometimes).

We are usually quite competitive …apples for apples and beyond, always trying our best to meet clients expectations.

Any time you call there is a person answering the phone addressing any questions or clarifications you might have, not to mention prompt technical support.

e-Solar has been involved exclusively in Solar and Renewable Energy in Europe, Africa, Middle East for over 30 years, in Australia since 2003. Hopefully we must be doing something right.

Why is WA so cheap compared to Eastern States on solar installs?

  • Wow, prices have dropped since we bought solar.

At that size and price - in Perth - this would pay for itself on a family household in just a few years.

    • No sure why…I guess there is more competition here. But it has been pointed out few times before

  • e-solar is WA only?

    • For Grid Connect yes…

      • Does that mean you do operate in other states for off-grid?

        • Yes we can supply everything else Australia wide

          • +2

@e-Solar: Need a grid connected deal here in NSW!

          • @e-Solar: Roughly what would a 1.5kv system with battery storage (say 600ah storage with any applicable battery mgmt), 2000w pure sine inverter, cost installed on a shed in rural Qld (about 30k outside Toowoomba)?

  • +2

That is really cheap. Need competitive prices in the rest of the country.

    • Yes, and cheaper batteries…way too much profit taking on battery systems at the moment…holding back the whole expansion of solar

      • What do they cost these days? I remember when Tesla came in they were half the price of similar systems, seems like the others have come down now?

      • +2

No point spending money on batteries these days. They are getting better and cheaper as we write. Payback time still about 10 years

  • Op, how much for 3 phase inverter and two story roof (tiled) ? Thanks

  • The 3 phase option of this offer would be $3650 and $250 for second storey

    • What about an SMA inverter?

  • Are these panels any good. Never heard of JA panels.

      • So middle of the road panels then?

        • +3

Middle in that grid means nothing. Being top in that grid just means they make and sell more than others. Says nothing about the quality at all.

Maccas probably make and sell the most burgers in the world - certainly doesn't mean they're the best burgers in the world.

          • @AdrianW: At least they are up there….if there is another list we should consider please share…

        • +1

There not terrible panels but they are more like a kia of the solar world, that's ok though because Kia's can present a very good bang for your buck. The link just indicates they're a huge company, I mean LG make the best panels and they're not even on that list so I don't think volume is a great metric to judge quality. I would upgrade the inverter before the panels though.

          • @donkcat: Everyone to their own. I'm happy to go to work with a KIA or Hyundai rather than an expensive BMW. Problem is you cannot drive your Fronius to work…

            • +1

@e-Solar: This is true, would you not pay the $900 extra for the Fronius if it were your own? M

              • @donkcat: In the office we have Zever Solar 5 KW inverter… None of e-Solar staff have Fronius or European inverters at their houses since 2011.However anybody is free to spend the money they like

  • is the price for the fronius the hybrid battery ready model?

    • No

      • which fronius is the price quoted and how much for the single phase hybrid fronius then?

  • Fronius Primo 5.0.1 otherwise for the Primo hybrid need to find out and confirm. Cheaper and better to go for the hybrid if you are putting batteries at the same time. Or else better wait.

  • If I have 3 phase supply, but only want a single phase inverter can you do this?

  • Western Power only allows up to 3 KW single phase inverter size. So possibly a 3.99 KW system size

    • I meant the above in case you have a 3 phase meter. Otherwise if you want 5 KW inverter and you have 3 phase meter also the inverter has to be 3 phase

  • The 25 year warranty on the panels is that a real warranty or one of those scam "performance" warranty¿¿

    • Not sure I understand your question. 25 years warranty 80% performance 12 years manufacturer warranty. The brand is a reputable one… What scam are you referring to? They comply with Australian and CEC standards and more. Otherwise I guess we have to wait 25 years. Who knows maybe even LG would not be around if something flares up with North Korea

      • Heaps of companys been advertising them as 25 year warranty, which is not correct as its a perfomance warranty….. which is pretty much impossible to prove with out getting them testet, which cost money.

        • All these panels before being certified by CEC Australia are TUV tested in Germany? Probably you have a better way to certify and prove them all wrong? I would like to know your method or an alternative testing agency you would recommend. Otherwise as of now all manufacturers in the world including Sunpower and LG use the same approach. When I started in 1987 in the solar industry, the warranty was only 10 years and already clients were saying then how do we know these panels will last that long? Well ever since the same panels are still working (less efficiently obviously) and in the meantime the performance efficiency has increased to 12, 15, 20 and now 25 years. Solar PV did not start yesterday …lots of people have been working in the industry since early 80s.
