Can We Have More Highlighted Discussion Posts on Front Page?

Ozbargain has become my favorite discussion forum due to the voting system (bye Whirlpool). It is so convenient to just glance at the front page and see what most people are talking about. I would never know how to respond to simple disputes, and learn many how-tos that are all essential living skills (I moved out at 18).

Is it possible to show more than 5 topics on the front page?

My suggestions are to show title only so we have more space. Or one more column. Whatever works. It's also nice to make the discussion posts more visible (stop hiding them at the bottom).

Thoughts?

Edit: Reddit is a news discussion forum that has become too political. The advices are not bargain-oriented.

  You can simply bookmark "Hot" Discussions if you want to see a bigger list of most active discussions.

  I have OzB bookmarked to the New Discussions forum page so all I see when I arrive on the site (many times a day) are the new posts for discussion. I can also go off and browse the bargains links although TBH I don't often do that, since most of my $$ is already accounted for!

  I have to lean towards "No" (haven't voted because it's like a 55/45 lean) even though I spend most of my time on the Discussions Forums just because I agree - OzBargain is more a bargain site than it is a discussion site. If the owner/admin/mods decide otherwise one day, then a change in priority/focus would be warranted.
