Victoria Solar Tariff Rebate

In the process of getting Solar panels and am wondering which energy provider I should be moving to.
Whether there was much room to move in the 11.3 Cents per KW area. Furthermore, don't want to be stung by having to pay more for standard electricity when I need it.
Any suggestions?

  • Keen to know too.
Wanting to get panels installed, and don't want to get ripped.

    • This is essentially the same question as 'who is the best electricity retailer?' there is no one size fits all answer. It depends on how much per you use and when.

Use not much? Low daily rate and high tariff. Intend to use all your solar? Then choose a low feed in and low daily rate.

      Understand your power profile.

It depends on your postcode because they refuse to give any quotes without finding that out.

    • They organised the highest prices in the world for you and now they're your friend that you trust to tell you who rips you off the least?

  • Seems Tango / Globird appear to be the top of that list.
Though am sadden that no one else appears to have any suggestions.

Have an at fault car accident without insurance and you will get heaps of advice. Include an MS Paint diagram and you will be inundated with responses.

    • "AGL Solar Savers" offer 20 cents feed in but I don't think there are any discounts on the connection fee and electricity (and any natural gas) you purchase under that plan.
