Good Value Monitor to Pair with Optiplex SFF (casual use)

Looking for a monitor to use with an Optiplex 9020 SFF. I don't game, just looking for a good value monitor for everyday use including viewing photos and streaming video.

Most recent monitor deals/posts I had a look at seemed to be aimed at gaming. I'm a bit of a noob here…what specs are most important for my usage?

Any recommendations (e.g. with the ebay 10% deal starting tomorrow)? I don't have a budget, but I'm sort of expecting something in the range of $150 - $250. Probably a size around 24" - 27". I'd just like to make sure I'm not wasting money on specs that I don't need.

Resolution: 1080x1920
For colour accuracy I'd go with some Dell monitor, used or new.

You could always pick up a couple of used/refurb monitors for cheap.

They're generally old school or business stock, but if you don't need sub- 5ms response times or 'Adobe RBG BBQ grade colorimetry' then they're absolutely fine.

And given the 10% off eBay tomorrow, they'll be cheaper again!

Hey dell factory outlet has u2417h refurbished for $209 or as new (unopened) for $239. Apparently the best 24 inch monitor according to tft central http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2417h.htm
It is definitely pushing it if you buy as new but I think it's worth it even refurbished due to features like extremly thin bezels, factory color calibration and warranty program albeit 1 year. You have to contact them directly through live chat though.
