Tiny Hearts first aid are offering free paediatric first aid classes to 6,000 parents in Melbourne's South East and 3,000 parents in Melbourne's North West as part of a government-funded program.

Eligibility:

• Be pregnant, have children or be a primary caregiver of young children aged (0-4)
• Reside within the South East Melbourne PHN or North West Melbourne PHN catchment regions (boundary map is here).

About the classes:
Over 3.5 hours you will learn the following:

Primary Survey - DRSABCD
Care of an unconscious person
Choking
Fevers
Febrile Convulsions
Burns
Head Injuries
Drowning
Bleeding
Bites and Stings
Q + A time

Classes in Madarin and Dari will also be available.

Please note, this class is slightly shorter than the regular class, which is 4 hours and costs $97.
