Got an email from Uber about the deal this morning.
Noticed that someone else has posted the same deal, but it looks like maybe their code might not be working?
Anyway - try this code as it is working for me.

Just apply the promo code in the 'Payment' section of the app and ride before Monday 22nd October 2018

Maximum discount of $5 off 3 rides only. Valid before Monday 22 October 2018. Offer not valid for UberTaxi or Uber Eats. Code must be entered before you request your ride. Code is non-transferable and can only be used on rides in Australia. Does not apply to cancellation or wait time fees.

Referrer gets $300-$500 once referee completes at least 30-40 deliveries.
Referees may be eligible for special offers based on the number of trips or deliveries they made after signing up through an invitation.

      No, having gotten this for the last two weeks I could use it for Uberpool rides that's around $5 making some rides for less than $1

      Me too, but I received it in an email from them.

      I rarely use Uber and have had gift card credit that sat there for a months. I took about 4 trips over the last few weeks, but still have gift card credit remaining. So maybe this code is only going to user with a bit of recent activity?

    Go use Ola instead. They have some good discounts and generous offers for new riders. And they pay much more to the drivers.
    $5 is … quite stingy

            Rider must complete at least 3 rides with Uber between 7am AEDT Monday 15 October and Sunday 21 October 2018 to unlock $5 off each Uber ride between 22 October and 28 October 2018 (inclusive). This promotion is valid only in Australia, and excludes UberTaxi and Uber Eats. The promotion does not apply to cancellation or wait time fees.

    I’ve been getting these messages from Ola.. I can’t seem to add my card to the account. my ANZ debit visa just rejects it. 🤷🏼‍♀️
