Dell Outlet Site Problems??

I have been trying to browse the Dell Outlet site but have noticed that i is continually down, the filters dont seem to work, nor does the next page function. I have the same issues on my phone (Android in Chrome Browser), as well as laptop and desktop (W10 with Chrome Browser, I have also tried Edge).

Anyone else having the same issues?

Yup. I noticed that the other day, tried different browsers and different PC's. Half of the buttons weren't visible for me. Just checked again and it's still the same.

  • I have also tried Edge

More importantly what was that browser experience like?

    • ROFL….better than IE, but I will stick to Chrome….I guess it has a backup purpose after downloading Chrome

Dell's DFO web page has been playing up for over a week…they are aware of it. But if you get onto their online chat, they will email you a spreadsheet of all DFO units available upon request.

    • THanks, I will do that. I am considering a Inspiron 11 3000 (3185) as an almost disposable laptop to take to classes when I teach (wet labs) it will be an upgrade to the Acer Switch 10e (Atom/2gb) but not at the prices they want for a new one. The other option is "refurbished" Yoga 3-11 or Yoga 700-11 which will pack a Core M and a FHD screen…..but the quality of the "refurb" is questionable (Renewd and Grays)

      • Inspiron 11 3000

Not sure on price, but pretty sure Costco (in Canberra) had these when I was there yesterday.

        • I saw them at Costco Auburn as well, but as with the normal Dell website the price is pretty extortionate compared to one on the Dell Outlet site. I am torn between the A9-9420e/4gb/500gb HDD (instant SSD swap out, possible RAM upgrade later on) or the A9-9420e/8gb/128gb EMMC (ready to roll) options, but I'll be damned if I am spending $600 on either option (im also sure I will be forcibly ejected from OzBargain).

  • This is why I don't trust Dell. A computing company that can't even get their website, that sells these computers (that are used to browse websites) working properly.

    You need a Xiaomi Ultrabook.

    • I actually looked at the Notebook Air 12.5" on the weekend (Chatswood store) definitely a nice looking unit, and it ticks a lot of boxes, esp if you dont want a convertible, but they are not "disposable cheap".

I do agree, it is worrying that Dell cant get their website working 100%

    • If you want to buy based off websites, pick up a lenovo. That website is noice

  • ive found the deep links in google still work, so maybe try searching google e.g. Dell Outlet Inspiron 7000

  • I cant filter results using Chrome (ie for instance, filterng laptops by memory size, etc).

But if I use another web browser it usually works, including edge.

    • Outlet had a bunch of XPS 15 8750h versions for $1600-1700 yesterday. Do you know if cashrewards or shopback works ordering through them as I had to message the customer service and they were going to send an invoice for the laptop I presume?
