BIg W is cheaper for starter kit and all the extra stuff
    http://catalogues.bigw.com.au/#view=catalogue2&saleId=24468&…

  • Amazon are currently matching MightyApe, as long as they don't run out of stock (either of them), the price will hold.

But eventually Amazon might match the BigW price, I don't know why BigW won't list the Switch version online, hopefully they do. Sometimes Amazon matches the catalogue but for whatever reason have yet to do so…

Anyway if you're not super in a rush, give it another day and see how it plays out :)

("Why not just shop at BigW!?", there isn't one near me and they don't offer free postage. Otherwise yes, I would support the already cheapest option)

  • You can finish the game with just the starter pack.

Edit. If you don't care for toys, the digital deluxe version comes with everything.

    • And by everything you're talking about the equivalent of buying $500 worth it you go physical.

      • The pricing makes zero sense.

        • I think it makes great sense tbh. I won't buy this game if it means buying and using the toys. For $150 I can buy it and game share and get the entire experience.

Canadian eShop costs CA$106 which converts to roughly the same in Australian dollars or US$80 on US eshop. I might buy from US instead.

@[Deactivated]: That's exactly why it makes no sense. The digital version is so significantly cheaper than the physical, but also ridiculously expensive for a video game in general. People that find it a bargain for the digital need to put into perspective that most new releases are launching at $69. Just because you're not buying a hunk of plastic, is the investment in that one game worth the extra money over Smash Bros AND Red Dead Redpemtion 2? You could literally buy both for a cheaper price than the digital version of Starlink

Waiting for Amazon to price match Big W!!!

  • Hate the idea of having to pay to get extra vehicles and characters.

  • If anyone preordered with EB for the bonus items (character pack and ship stand), I was able to price match with Big W and retain the EB preorder bonuses.

    • That's awesome!

Amazon won't price match Big W!

      They can be stubborn sometimes.
