Canon EOS R with EF mount adapter for $2,920.68, cheapest other price is $3141 and that's the body only.

      Can be bought from B&H for $157 delivered or locally for $190, i think you may have been looking at the ones with control rings or ND/PL filters instead.

    I'd say this is still a better deal, especially for a first time poster.

    With the adapter included, it means it also gets the 20% off(even though the original cost is higher than RRP), works out to be about $175 for local stock.

  Staying away from Canon as there is no in body image stabilisation. Both Nikon and Sony FF mirrorless have in body image stabilisation making every lens attached image stabilised. The other advantage is that lenses are now lighter/smaller as the technology resides in the body.

  I have been a Canon fanboy in the past but since they failed to innovate with 6D mk2 and the EOS R, I am moving to Nikon or Sony.
