In SA it was $430 last I time I checked (6 weeks ago). It was cheaper to buy it from Amazon for $399 and use a Prime trial to get it in two days. I'm sure you could probably get it cheaper again.

You can only wander into Costco nowdays if you actually have a membership.
Not true, you can get a guess pass that allows you to look BUT not buy anything.
Anyhow lets say that was the case, that they don't have a membership to go into costco, when why are they even asking about the price!?

I was in Costco Canberra 3 dats ago and they’re $380 there.
If they let you go in without joining it might be worth going there to check the price.
Our local costco makes you join before they will let you go in. When I questioned it they said they were aware that other stores allow you to browse without joining but they don't (wouldn't give a reason). We had planned to join anyway but it annoyed me a bit.Their view is you can cancel your membership and get your money back - if you don't think you are getting value. (I wonder how many people actually do that).
