Whoops. Wired. Home use.
Audio Technica ATH-M40x. Almost as good as the 50x's everyone loves, but some say with more accurate sound. I've had mine for over 5 years, just replaced the pads with Brainwavz HM5 Angled pads, now they're much more comfortable and still sound great!
HyperX Cloud Alpha are $169 retail so would be under your budget if on sale. They have a detachable mic so you could use them for gaming and listening. HyperX also offer slightly deeper pads for free - you just need to contact their support.
