A couple of weeks ago I contacted VastGG after I had the same problem. He said he had received a lot of comments about this and it was a Gleam option that had been introduced. So I contacted Gleam and they said they introduced this to stop bots and scams. They then claimed they checked my Twittwer account and said it was obviously a throwaway account - problem is that their reply came back in less than 10 seconds after I sent them my Twitter name while I was doing an online chat with them. So I seriously doubt they looked at anything. Then they closed down the chat while I was half way through a reply to this claim.
This is my only Twitter account and I have had it for years and is in my name so obviously not a throwaway account - I mostly use it for messaging - isn't this what Twitter is for??
As far as I can tell, they have incorrectly and randomly claimed some people are using twitter throwaway accounts without a proper look and refuse to do anything about it.
Since then I have had this problem pop up a number of times and it makes no difference how long you leave it before trying again.Edit - forgot to mention that VastGG only trialed this function and has removed this function from their giveaways so they will work properly again.
Thanks for sharing. Mine is a throw away account, I hate twitter only created it for Comps haha.. Maybe I'll add a pic of myself and try my luck with support.
Interesting, my account is old and only one I have too, still seeing it on the latest vast comps, perhaps have to wait for their next batch of comps to see if it is still there
