I always have my Brekkie muffin with Tomato Sauce instead of BBQ. Have never paid for the change before.
This morning I was charged 30c. She said its new as part of the new menu pricing.

Not sure I am getting a downvote. I really wanted to know, as I always ask for the ketchup if I order fries.
I will try that this week. I usually change the BBQ to Tomato. now told that the bacon and egg muffin does not include the BBQ either.
I feel like this has been the born in Victoria for a while. KFC definitely, not sure about HJs.
No matter, I always keep a bottle handy.
I know the KFC near me charges 50c (near Central Station and Haymarket Sydney) even has a sign for prices (printed on a home printer it seems though).

it depends on WHEN you ask for it.. if you're in the drive thru, ask for it when you are getting the food, not when you are ordering

Solution: save the multiple ketchup packs for the next HJ burger

Anywhere else in the world Burger king give you free sauces whether you ask for it or not.
yes my local HJ down at Wynnum West is also charging for salad additions to burgers. Asked for beetroot for the burger and they charge for it now. Girl at counter said new changes to pricing as well. The nugget dips and ketchup are still free though…
I noticed this a couple of weeks ago but tonight I was charged 0.50c for adding onion and 0.15 for extra ketchup on my cheeseburger - Being able to make it your way wasn't only a slogan for HJ's but it's a way of life for me!!
