Woolworths China on Tmall! Offical Thought The Woolworths Webpage

Hi everybody,

I found this pretty interesting. If you go to cn.woolworths.com.au , then click on the Tmall link in the footer, it takes you to a tmall page (https://woolworths.tmall.hk/)

I'm assuming that this is for baby formula (correct me if I'm wrong)

Thanks

Not surprising since chemical warehouse and others landing tmall for years.

  • At least Weetbix aren't $50+ anymore. Product placement in tv shows really made it popular over there.

    • Fifty dollars for a bland processed wheat product which don't taste good until you add something else. What a deal!

      • Where can you get it cheaper in China?

  • I'd heard about this a while ago. Makes sense - it's a business that sells stuff, this is a way to reach more people who want to buy stuff.

So not only is our education and housing dearer, now our food will be as well.

    Welcome to the lucky country.

Hopefully this war with China kicks off soon and we can get back to normality.

    • Sigh.

I think we should change from being the "lucky country" to being the "whiny country".

Overseas shops (like ALDI) come in and sell stuff here - we whine because "they're taking our money overseas!" Our companies go overseas to sell bringing money home and "They're making stuff more expensive!"

You can't have it both ways - and you definitely don't want to be in a position like Greece where you only import things and don't export anything. Because then you end up like Greece.
