Is This Asus VE248HR 24" LED LCD Gaming Monitor a Good Deal at $186.00?

Was looking for a good monitor for a set up I'm setting up and found this monitor. Good price, free shipping etc. Has an 85hz refresh rate (didn't know that was a thing), and the big downside seems to be maybe being a little dim (not a problem for me) and a lack of freesync, but I can live without those (will pick up a new monitor eventually, just in desperate need for a 1080p monitor…current one is just over 720p).

Seller looks phenomenal with a 100% rating, though I'm giving that another look. Saw some other great monitors with freesync from less desirable sellers/stores.

Appreciate replies and/or other options. Thanks OzBargainers!

Edit - Also, were there any eBay coupons that weren't P5OFF applicable here?

Came across something that seems better

the big downside seems to be maybe being a little dim (not a problem for me)

That usually also means lower real-life contrast. And a 1ms monitor at that price likely means a TN-panel (check because I couldn't find the specs), which means poor(er) viewing angles and colour accuracy if that's relevant.

Honestly, the biggest issue is the price. The monitor has absolutely nothing going for it other than the 85Hz refresh rate (which I personally suspect is just a 'possible' overclock figure for a standard 65Hz panel), and for a very very mediocre 1ms 1080p 24" monitor, I've seen plenty going for around $130.
