Credit Card Balance Transfer in Two Weeks?

Hey everyone,

I am looking to apply for a credit card which has a fast approval and balance transfer process.

I think I have a decent credit rating as I have always paid my dues and monthly installments (mortgage, car loan, credit card dues) in time. I have about two weeks to pay my credit card dues.

Which one should I go for based on your experiences? I would like to go for one which has a low (or zero) transfer rate and a 0% transfer fees.

Thanks.

    This

I have always paid my dues and monthly installments (mortgage, car loan, credit card dues) in time.

    conflicts with this

I have about two weeks to pay my credit card dues.

Doing the transfer shuffle from one 0% card to another is NOT paying your dues.

    • It is not conflicting when you have to do it once in four years.

        I'll quote myself

Doing the transfer shuffle from one 0% card to another is NOT paying your dues.

  • Also, the recent credit changes and checks; be prepared the bank will check not just your score but also what other facilities are open (to ensure you are capable of servicing the credit limit. If they get a scent that this facility remains open at time of application you may be declined.

    You would like what???

0%pa interest rate of the BT
    0% BT fee
    $0 annual fee
    26 months

    This is what you want.

But, you probably can't get all 4 of those.

You also need to know that some banks like St George, Westpac and Bank of Melbourne are the same bank and generally you cant get a BT between them unless you ask VERY nicely.

This is where you should start….

    • I just need 6 months or so, not longer periods around 24 months.
