20kg Dumbbells

From time to time there are promotions for 20kg dumbbell sets at $30~.. These things usually go for $90+!
Has anyone seen another sale or knows of an upcoming one?

    I don't know any sale of upcoming sales on 20kg dumbbell sets.

    But I can tell you that I got mine (20kg dumbell, includes seperate disks) for $2 from a garage sale. The seller was moving to NZ so he had to dump a lot of heavy equipment.

    So if you have the time, look around the local newspapers for such deals and maybe garage sales.

        haha yeah
        i got mine for $1.25 per kg
        got 40kg altogether, quite costly compared to Xanthorrhoea…'s

        ebay is key for these as they mainly are pick up only

        and therefore you will be able to check the quality, less competition and thus cheaper prices

    BTW to not sound totally useless..I got mine off the rebel sports sale 20% off and $20 voucher
    GRAND TOTAL of $19.95 but this is for the 10 kg one

    A TRUE ozBargainer would use bricks.

    And use children for bench pressing - my 7 year old is 20kg = perfect!
