Keen to get some Australian views on smash ultimate, since most the online talk I hear about it comes from forums dominated by Americans!
What do you think of ultimate? What are you happy about? What are you disappointed about? Who were you hoping would get in? Who do you think might be DLC?
Personally, I think the sheer number of characters in the roster is mind-blowing! I'm disappointed I didn't get my main want Banjo & Kazooie, but I can hardly be disappointed with what we have. Bringing back every single character ever was amazing! I'm also very very happy it looks as though we're getting some cut scenes with all the characters. I loved them back in the Brawl does and I'm glad they're making a comeback.
The biggest disappointment for me is no trophies. I always enjoyed doing every mode with every character and trophies were a nice way to mark off that achievement. Plus I just liked being able to collect them. They were always such a nice part of the game for me, but I understand why they went (development time, money etc).
Plus, the spacing of announcements were weird. The final two reveals of Ken and Incineroar really didn't live up to the August direct we got with Simon, Richter, Dark Samus, Chrom and K Rool!
Also Piranah plant??? Who saw that coming!? Can't say I'm excited, or that there weren't others I'd hoped to see more, but it should hopefully be fun! I'm cautiously optimistic about the character!
There's plenty more I could discuss, but won't go into it unless it turns out there is a decent following here :)
Personally I just really liked the end where Kirby was the only one that got away, GO! Little pink puff ball!!
