First post here - so apologies for any formatting errors.

Been on the lookout for a sub $400 PS4 PRO console or bundle for the last few months - found this today in tandem with the 20% eBay offer which includes Sony Australia. RRP is $559.95, but the 20% discount brings it down to $447.96; only potential issue is there is a 'manufacturer refurbished' logo in green on the product description but eBay has listed it as Brand new.

Was going to wait until the Black Friday sales in 2-3 weeks but given this bundle has the Fortnite skin code - you can potentially sell to get a $390 - $400 PS4 Pro.

      Just had another look at the listings on the Sony Australia eBay store - as mentioned by @bar6gain above; most products (e.g. TVs, speakers, cameras) seem to be 'seconds' or manufacturer refurbished and this is listed in the condition by eBay.

      With the PS4 bundles (slim or pro versions) they all seem to be listed as 'Brand New' - so hopefully this means the consoles are all brand new and not refurbished. Otherwise it'd be false advertising and possibly refundable?

      EDIT: It seems Sony Australia has updated their listing with "Box Damaged" but the otherwise the condition is still Brand New.

      It’s safe to say that these are brand new, box damaged. Refurbs aren’t repackaged as bundles, and bundles aren’t refurbished. I purchased a mirrorless camera from the Sony eBay store that was box damaged. The damage consisted of sticker residue on the box, that’s it. Sony’s eBay store listings can be a bit unclear though, that’s for sure.

    Got mine in the last deal for $350 ($369 minus cashrewards) then sold the fortnite code for $150 lmao. Total $200.

    I think the fortnite codes only sell for $20-$40 now

      Sold my code for $60 and they tried to do a reverse charge on me which failed! I also have an unopened console with fortnite code which I was meant to sell but have never got around to it thinking someone would do a reverse charge on that as well lol..

          It’s the whole accepting via PayPal that has me worried. I had him send via friends and family and asked for his address to post it but he also wanted it via PM here.

          I didn’t end up posting it cause he had redeemed the code already and thanked me. Couple days later I got an email from PayPal saying there’s been a dispute opened as an unauthorised transaction. Luckily I had transferred the funds into my bank and removed my card details from PayPal cause I suspected he was dodgy (he initially gave me a fake address and there was a fake address tied to his PayPal etc).

          After sending PayPal a few messages about the whole situation they sided with me without even replying to any of my messages lol

      Not really, considering they were easily selling for $200, with some people even managing to sell (and receive money with no issues) for over $500. Back during the Amazon sale, people were essentially getting a free or very cheap PS4 pro…

      Now that demand has naturally reduced, it's only going for about $30-40.

      Apparently this happens with some of the existing accounts without any valid reason. Open a new eBay account and it should work just fine.

      Had same issue. spoke to online reps they said my account was created long back when default country was still US.

      They fixed it for me in 2 minutes

        I received mine on Tuesday.

        They ship from Sydney hence the quick delivery; but same as you, I was provided a Toll tracking number but it was actually shipped by DHL.

        If you're interstate, I'd expect it to come through today or tomorrow!
